Yes. I need a job. A damn good one.
I am educated. I've been to college. Yet I am having a hard time finding good employment. Why on earth is this? Memphis sucks.
No one wanted to pay me what I'm worth which is why I'm trying to start my own business. An internet business selling a service. Heck, I can do it. I'm a smart person.
I'm tired of working hard for folks. I'm ready to start working easy making some good money.
I have bills and there are also nice things I want to buy for myself like the big screen Plasma Screen, some really nice furniture for my home, a nicer car (heck my car is over 10 years old!) and I would like to take a vacation somewhere exotic. Like Africa.

JACOBSON STAFFING RIP OFF REPORT!
My cousin was just offered a temporary position through Jacobson Staffing Company in Memphis, TN. The position pays only $9.00 an hour, yet my cousin has been advised that he will have to pay for both the drug test and the employee background check. However, they wanted him to start work immediately that day.
What a fucking ripoff!!!
I understand many temporary staffing companies do charge for the drug test, however, to charge him $20.00 for the drug test and another $25.00 for the employee background check is totally absurd. My cousin will have to work at least the first 5 hours for the company. FOR FREE. Can anybody say slavery??
This is exactly what I do not like about so many Memphis staffing companies. They take advantage of the slim job market and start creating ridiculous ways to get even more money from people who already don't make much. Jacobson Staffing should burn in hell for this transgression.
But sadly they are NOT alone in their misgivings.
Most people know this amount of charges is totally absurd, but when they need a job they agree to be used essentially.
What's going to become of America where more and more companies are taking advantage of those at the very bottom??
I say SHAME ON JACOBSON STAFFING COMPANY!!!

Dirty Ass, Racist Ass Memphis, TN
Memphis, TN is probably known for its barbecue, Elvis Presley and Graceland (of course) and Blues. Many people do not know that Memphis is probably one of America's most racist cities. I don't doubt this AT ALL. Memphis Sucks and I would move but most other places have just as much racism as Memphis. I found this out after I moved to Atlanta. The only major black businesses are the black churches and the pimps who run them and of course the black colleges who charge more than they should for the substandard education they offer.
Memphis is filled with hillbilly, white racists who would rather cut off their member than see blacks get ahead. There is so much poverty in Memphis, TN that it is unbelievable. I was traveling in Nebraska and was checking into the hotel in Omaha and a young white fellow was like, "you're from Memphis?" and he went on to state how he "hated Memphis and how it seemed the only businesses were liquor stores and fast food places and how all the people with money were leaving". Unfortunately, he hit the nail on the head.
